I Care More About Where Power Lands

This is my judgment, not a conclusion jointly announced by the reports above. Power and technology move at different speeds. A powered bridge can reduce an obstruction caused by floodwater immediately. An exhibition needs time to speak obscured facts again. Sanctions and designations may affect remittances, education, work, and cross-border movement over a longer period. If news records only the will of the issuer, it can erase the people who bear the consequences from the sentence.

I do not think every policy should be judged by one measure, and I do not place rescue, memory, and diplomatic measures on the same level.
